Visitors came to Austin, Texas recently to attend South by Southwest Interactive (SXSW) and also had the opportunity to visit 3M Innovator Hot Spots, areas created to encourage interaction with several of 3M's most cutting-edge digital and mobile technologies. From multi-touch displays to virtual presenters, the 3M spaces caused quite a stir among this entrepreneurial crowd. Guests were also invited to join the "innovation conversation" via a novel augmented reality app developed to capture the ideas buzzing about at SXSW across social networks and inspire more innovative thinking.
