Yuki Yamaguchi won Gold at the 39th WorldSkills Competition in Shizuoka in Network Cabling. Since winning this, he has become more aware of the quality of his work and it has given him a new mindset about the value of his career. He now feels that it is extremely important for him to make a good impression both personally and in his work, and attributes some of this to the unique experience WorldSkills offers - being able to mix with other people from different cultures who have the same interests and same skills.
