The Porsche Macan has made its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The compact SUV will be a rival for cars such as the Range Rover Evoque and Jaguar's forthcoming SUV. The Macan (which derives its name from the Indonesian word for tiger) is based on a new platform that will also be used for the next Audi Q5.
