Im Vergleich zu EURO 5 reduziert sich bei EURO 6 der NOx-Aussto&szlig; nochmals um 80 Prozent und die erlaubte Partikelmasse um 66 Prozent. Die beiden bew&auml;hrten MAN Abgas-Technologien MAN PURE DIESEL&reg; (AGR) und MAN AdBlue&reg; (SCR) werden f&uuml;r die umweltfreundlichen EURO 6-Dieselmotoren technologisch zusammengef&uuml;hrt.Neu im MAN Lion's City ist die Verwendung des zus&auml;tzlichen Betriebsstoffes AdBlue&reg; zur Stickoxidreduktion. Die Tankgr&ouml;&szlig;en f&uuml;r die ungiftige und ungef&auml;hrliche Harnstoffl&ouml;sung sind auf das Dieseltankvolumen abgestimmt.Die ausgereifte MAN Motoren-Technologie mit Common-Rail-Einspritzung, geregelter Abgasr&uuml;ckf&uuml;hrung AGR und zweistufiger Turboaufladung mit Zwischenk&uuml;hlung wird bei EURO 6 um das neue SCRT-System erg&auml;nzt.Das SCRT-System ist im zweistufigen Abgasschalld&auml;mpfer untergebracht. Es setzt sich aus dem, gegen&uuml;ber EEV vergr&ouml;&szlig;erten, Partikelfilter und den nachgeschalteten SCR-Katalysatoren zusammen.Die elektronische &Uuml;berwachung des Partikelfilters zeigt bei Bedarf die Notwendigkeit einer Reinigung an. Die Abscheiderate des Partikelfilters erreicht bis zu 99 Prozent. Die Oxidation der im Filtermaterial zur&uuml;ckgehaltenen Ru&szlig;partikel zu gasf&ouml;rmigem Kohlendioxid regeneriert das System kontimuierlich. Der Partikelfilter ist deshalb weitgehend wartungsarm.Die bedarfsgerechte Eind&uuml;sung der Harnstoffl&ouml;sung AdBlue&reg; erfolgt nach dem CRT-PartikelfilterIm SCR-Katalysatormodul ensteht aus dem Harnstoff das Ammoniak, welches die anschlie&szlig;ende chemische Umwandlung der Stickoxide in die unsch&auml;dlichen Bestandteile Stickstoff und Sauerstoff erm&ouml;glicht. Der Ammoniak-Sperrkatalysator verhindert den Austritt des &uuml;bersch&uuml;ssigen Ammoniaks -- den sogenannten Ammoniak-Schlupf.MAN steht f&uuml;r Effizienz und hat unter dem Markenversprechen &bdquo;Konsequent effizient" eine klare Richtung f&uuml;r die Entwicklung seiner EURO 6-Fahrzeuge verfolgt.
